The night of the 31st of January, in fact!

Starting out getting messy at O’Malleys (clearly mixing every palatable spirit is the best way to play catch-up with a Malibu-filled giggly girl) – then a Don Bomb (oh god yes), some minor illness, 12934 CC+cokes at the Cas (and losing all my money on the god damned pokies) – then wandering (it’s a bit of a blur) followed by watching the sun rise over the buildings and the river.

Beautiful and a most excellent night/morning.

This was about a thousand times amazing. Drinking and playing the pokies all night and then watching the sunrise over the river.

I’ve done it once, but it was a house-type party thing and all a bit dodgy.

So: going out, drinking a lot, dancing like an uncoordinated fool, and like a wise wise woman once suggested, watching the sun rise in a park with a tallboy in a paper bag.
