don't give anyone permission to make me feel inferior

It was all about changing my mindset. I’m no better and no worse a human being than anyone else on this planet, and I just had to keep reminding myself of that.

Any time I felt that someone was better than me, I just had to remind myself that they may have had qualities that I wish I had, but that didn’t make them better than me. Plus, realising that gave me something to aspire to.

This was a good goal, if only for the chance I got to reassess the way I think.

Lately I’ve just been feeling a little bit inferior to people. Only a few people, but I still feel that a few people is a few too many. Anyway, I remembered that lovely quote “nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent” and thought well, that’s it. From now on, no one has my permission to make me feel inferior.
