grow out my hair again

Thinner and thinner, more and more fragile. I look at pictures from 2001 and I can’t believe how much more hair I had – I sure didn’t appreciate it then. I spend countless hours trying to get it to look good and have ended up canceling my plans more than once when I couldn’t get it right. Finally though, I’m getting my stress under control and it’s starting to grow back, but I hate the way it looks most of the time. I’m going to buy a few cute wigs and just keep it under wraps for a year or two…

I miss my long hair sooo much. My mom cut it as a punishment, and I hate it every day. I used to be alot prettier. :[

I’m tired of this look. I want it long again.

i stupidly got my hair cut short last year, and within a week hated not having long hair, so i’m back growing it, its nowhere near as long as i want it, but it’s getting there :)

My hair, even the short pieces, are past my shoulders now. I have hair. Hair. . . I’ve been doing condition-wash-condition on it lately the texture is much improved. I need to dye it soon. I have an inch and a half of gray.

Until I decided to get bangs. Its not the bangs I regret, but the salon. The girl was training and screwed up so bad that the only way to make my hair look Ok was to cut it short. I was upset, but what else could i do. And so I wait…....

I have hair.

I’m very happy with this. It’s turning gray now but it’s hair now. If you’ll scroll down the page you’ll see what I started with and you’ll understand why I’m so happy with my hair. I can pull all of it back now without getting hair in my face. It’s getting less obvious that the back is longer than the front.

I am determined that I will grow my hair to a minimum of waist-length, and when I do, IT WILL BE HEALTHY. I think I’m going to have to call it quits for this attempt. My flaw this time: the flatiron!

No amount of “thermal protective” coating (or whatever it’s called) can stop my straightener from baking my hair. I turn it down, and it doesn’t work. I turn it back up, and my hair breaks off! What fun! :D

I’ve been paying extra close attention to split ends and conditioning like crazy, but I guess in the end I’m just going to have to like my hair the style it is naturally. After my next cut I’ll post some pics and measurements.

I can pull all my hair back without it getting in my face now.

I just got a perm last month, and my hair grew back like crazy! Hopefully, it will back to the length I had four years ago.
