create my own art

I got out some supplies to work on some craft projects for my daughters room, and I found some things that might work for my “bright idea.”

My problem is wanting to piece everything together perfectly before I start, instead I need to just pick up a pencil, paint or glue and just start in. No one said I can’t make a couple of test projects first and who knows something that starts out horrendous could actually end decently.

I need to work on one project at a time, so I’ll finish my daughters stuff first :)

My religion is my inspiration, now I just have to get in touch with the creativity bug. If you’re trying to get an image of what I’m thinking about, it’s a modern form of doing a rough collage of mythological images. I’ve got some great ideas in my head, but I just need to find the “tools” to achieve them, and oddly enough, for what I want to do, the tools are all buried somewhere in my house just waiting for me to discover them.

This should be fun, and if I’m lucky I’ll make millions!! Until then, I’ll just have fun exploring my creativity and inspiration. Maybe learn a little along the way too; getting some good symbolism going!!
