my grandpop retired and now hes basically rich so several months ago he bought a black Z06 2008 corvette. but hes rich enough to buy the next model that comes out so he hinted at the possibility of giving the 2008 to me for my 16th birthday in april. that would definately be the best birthday ever.

SUPRA DUPRA BLABLA  — 2 weeks ago

Worth doing!

CORVETTES WERE THE START OF IT ALL AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED. ALL THE SPORTS CARS IN THE WORLD OWE IT TO THIS CLASS OF CARS. I JUST BOUGHT A 1973 CORVETTE STINGRAY L-82 ELKHART GREEN WITH 50K MILES. 95% ORIGINAL AND A REAL SURVIVOR. SOMETIMES PEOPLE THINK IT’S ALL ABOUT SPEED AND POWER IS AWESOME, BUT A TT SUPRA IS NOT THE SAME CAR AS A CLASSIC CORVETTE. YOU CAN MODIFY ANY V8 IN THE WORLD TO GIVE IT CRAZY AMOUNTS OF HORSE POWER. ASK ANY REAL CAR LOVER IF THEY WOULD RATHER HAVE A CLASSIC CORVETTE OR EVEN A LATE MODEL SUCH AS THE NEW 2009 ZR-1 RATHER THAN A TT SUPRA WITH 1248 HP AND THE ANSWER WOULD BE….....................THE BOW TIE NOT THE YOTA. BUYING A CLASSIC OR NEW CORVETTE IS A COMMITMENT. A COMMITMENT TO UPHOLDING THE LEGACY AND REPUTATION OF CORVETTE. BECOMING A PART OF HISTORY AND CARRYING IT INTO THE FUTURE.
I LOVE MY CAR.
IT’S BECOME A PART OF WHO I AM.
WORD TO YA MUTHA.

corvettes are nothing compared to TT Supras

My love.  — 3 months ago

I’ve loved corvettes ever since I went to a “car show” with a friend that is basically just a bunch of people that agree to meet and they show off their cars and talk and sometime people decide to race which is always exciting. Anywhere from 15-100 people are at these car meets and the camaro’s and mustangs and the occasional viper/supra are cool but I always seem to stare at the corvettes.

Because I want to save and I’m going to have to pay off college loans I’m going to say.. I graduate when I’m 23, so I want to own a new top of the line corvette by 33, but not sacrificing other things. I guess I could get a few year old one by like 28-30 but having the new top of the line is different in my eyes. I don’t know why….

Corvettes  — 1 year ago

I fell in love with the Corvettte in 1953, yes I am that old, and I have wanted one ever since. When I can afford one, I cannot buy it, because I have family, kids, parents and grandparents to drive around, and the times that I did not have them I could not afford one.

Proud Owner of a 76 Stingray  — 1 year ago

Worth doing!

I bought my first car .. A 1976 String with my own money from my very own job in cash … Had 40K original miles to which i add 100K without a problem :) ... My stingray has been driving across the country several times including Florida NewYork Michigan Mississippi California Arizona Texas Washington and more (all but Alaska Hawaii Utah and Nevada now :))
I wouldn’t sell it for anything :)

"Little (red) Corvette"  — 1 year ago

I’ve always wanted a Corvette.
Why?
first of all it rhymes with my name hahaha
secondly, its a very beautiful car and i’m envious every time I see one drive past me.
Now i’m just looking for the perfect year/model.
Any suggestions?
