turbojimmy is a Reinventing Traveling De-Clutterer
I’ve owned a lot faster and cooler cars…but I want to be “that guy”. It has to be a Z06, so I’ll wait…

someday
im going to have a little red convertible corvette in my
driveway.
just you wait. :]
my grandpop retired and now hes basically rich so several months ago he bought a black Z06 2008 corvette. but hes rich enough to buy the next model that comes out so he hinted at the possibility of giving the 2008 to me for my 16th birthday in april. that would definately be the best birthday ever.
CORVETTES WERE THE START OF IT ALL AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED. ALL THE SPORTS CARS IN THE WORLD OWE IT TO THIS CLASS OF CARS. I JUST BOUGHT A 1973 CORVETTE STINGRAY L-82 ELKHART GREEN WITH 50K MILES. 95% ORIGINAL AND A REAL SURVIVOR. SOMETIMES PEOPLE THINK IT’S ALL ABOUT SPEED AND POWER IS AWESOME, BUT A TT SUPRA IS NOT THE SAME CAR AS A CLASSIC CORVETTE. YOU CAN MODIFY ANY V8 IN THE WORLD TO GIVE IT CRAZY AMOUNTS OF HORSE POWER. ASK ANY REAL CAR LOVER IF THEY WOULD RATHER HAVE A CLASSIC CORVETTE OR EVEN A LATE MODEL SUCH AS THE NEW 2009 ZR-1 RATHER THAN A TT SUPRA WITH 1248 HP AND THE ANSWER WOULD BE….....................THE BOW TIE NOT THE YOTA. BUYING A CLASSIC OR NEW CORVETTE IS A COMMITMENT. A COMMITMENT TO UPHOLDING THE LEGACY AND REPUTATION OF CORVETTE. BECOMING A PART OF HISTORY AND CARRYING IT INTO THE FUTURE.
I LOVE MY CAR.
IT’S BECOME A PART OF WHO I AM.
WORD TO YA MUTHA.
I’ve loved corvettes ever since I went to a “car show” with a friend that is basically just a bunch of people that agree to meet and they show off their cars and talk and sometime people decide to race which is always exciting. Anywhere from 15-100 people are at these car meets and the camaro’s and mustangs and the occasional viper/supra are cool but I always seem to stare at the corvettes.
Because I want to save and I’m going to have to pay off college loans I’m going to say.. I graduate when I’m 23, so I want to own a new top of the line corvette by 33, but not sacrificing other things. I guess I could get a few year old one by like 28-30 but having the new top of the line is different in my eyes. I don’t know why….
I love them, I need them…well, just one would be perfect!! I need a Corvette, at least one, in my life… they are part of myself..
