go to a masquerade

I must go to one before I grow too old!

I went to a masquerade ball this past summer for a charity event for the Boys and Girls club. It was fun getting dressed up all fancy because it’s not something I do. I had my makeup done at MAC so that was my mask! I thought that idea was pretty cool. It was a little stressful finding a dress though.

So there’s this mardi gras masquerade going on in my area to benefit the Children’s Hospital. The tickets are mine since my boss doesn’t want them, I’ve already found the dress I would want to wear, I have a mask, everything would be perfect…
If it weren’t for the fact that you have to be 21 or older to go! It’s a good thing they do this every year because I would be pretty dang pissed if I couldn’t go this year. I’m already bummer out enough.

do people really dance like that masquerades? ha.
