Queen Esther is running errands and then she's hitting the gym. (Hard.)
get this: i pay $650, the spa puts it on a special card and i can partake of anything on the spa menu for 50% off. it’s good for a year. crazy, right? it was a part of their promo for the fall and i got in on the tail end of it, as of friday. i can’t believe my blind, stinking luck.
i thought i’d have to skip town to have a spa weekend and of course that’s one option. but this is totally do-able’and affordable. i’ll just park it there for two days. yippee!

i don’t consider myself to be high maintainance. i simply do what i have to do to take care of myself. it’s very basic: i see my eyebrowist every two weeks, my facialist once a month, i get a manicure/pedicure every three weeks or so and i go to the gym every day. i do lots of exfoliating and moisturizing at home, too—with really great products.
i’m good at maintainance and upkeep but i’m an actor. i have to be. what i look like has everything to do with whether or not i’ll work—especially in tv/film/commercials. even if i weren’t in this business, i’d still work hard to take care of myself because it’s what i deserve. and it makes a big difference in how i look and feel, and how i feel about myself.
so you see, maintainance and upkeep is necessary. a spa weekend, on the other hand, would be a luxury.
