This is a tricky one because firstly you have to work out what ‘ethically’ means, then avoid the trap of living ethically being like a fashion lable – like not wearing fur and boycotting nike, but not giving a * about the less well known causes.
Personally I’m not very hardcore at it, I boycott some of the easier to boycott businesses (mcdonalds tastes like * anyway, and nike shoes are overpriced and not as good as some others anyway), I support the tree-hugging type organisations, but I don’t go to any great lengths in doing so. I don’t work for a corporate law firm or uranium mining company, but I do work for the government.
But I guess if I stepped up the ethics a little wihtout being too self-righteous about it it might make me a little happier.
