get certified for diving

I tooka diving class near my school in florida, it was awesome :)

I took a class at Michigan State University my junior year on SCUBA diving. What a great experience! We met twice a week, in class or at the pool, and learned all about diving. Upon completion of the class, we did our open water certification @ the Gilboa Rock Quarry somewhere in Ohio. It was an old rock quarry filled in with water. They sank some things too, to make it more interesting. There was a bus, an old motorbike, a Dr. Pepper Machine, all about 30 feet below the surface, so it was quite cold underneath.

Unfortunately, opportunity has not provided me with another chance to go SCUBA diving since I became certified. But I feel that opportunity knocking very soon. Perhaps when I move to Thailand this winter?

Got certified in Florida. Only gone diving once since then in Hawaii. But it is awesome. Certainly worth doing.

need to learn how to swim first.

I need to learn how to swim first? Any pretty ladies out there who can teach me? Ok you don’t have to be pretty but no freaky stuff like fins or mermaid tails. Ok on second thoughts I can work with mermaid tails, but no fins! Absolutely no fins!

expired last year, the class was fun, and we got to dive for free.
