Starting goals. 9 months ago

So I have 3 things I want to do to kick start this goal -

- Start a daily food blog so I can keep track of my calorie intake

- Buy some weighing scales, and have a weekly weigh in at the same time each week – should let me see progress more consistently than using other people’s scales.

- Maintain the gym at least twice a week – aim for 3 times.



Get to my target weight. 12 months ago

I’ve been steadily losing weight for the past year now (although it has leveled off in the last 6 months), and just want to get on and lose the rest of the weight so that I can stop worrying over it. I know that it will be hard work, but I can and will do this by the June 2009.

I think now’s he time to start doing crunches. If I want to get the abs …..you know? So far I haven’t done any excersize at all really….other than normal running around after the kiddo and collec ting firewood.

maybe I’ll have to take a photo of myself…just to motivate and be able to see the diff.

I’m thinking I’m doing well…but lately since the weather has turned…I’ve been eating more….andf getting out less. I think I need to do more swimming & wood collecting and less eating out. That’s the plan anyway.

I want to lose a few (20) pounds by Feb,.. for a big out of town gathering of internet friends. I want to look stunning,.. to say the least. I have started on the right track, with eating more salads and cutting out fried food,..still having a time exercising, tho,.. gggrrrr,.. ;)

I used to weight 94kg, which was a lot for me, I felt frumpy and had no self confidence.
I’ve since been eating heathily and non-regimentally (eating when I’m hungry and not sticking to meal times – or even three meals a day) and exercising more.
I now weight 78kg, which has taken me about seven months and I reckon I have another 10kg to lose, so I should be at my target weight for the summer!!!

I have lost 77lbs (5½ stone)
I have about 2 stone more to go
I am doing more excercise and have now got a pilate’s bench to add to toning.
Taking charge of your own body is key to losing weight and keeping it off.
