stop being such a pinch-penny.

Yesterday I took my daughter to the clothing store and spent $87.00 on her! Normally I am like “forget it, you are crazy, no I wont buy you that, lets go to the thrift store, cant you get that same thing at walmart for $5.00? you will never wear it, you will just grow out of it, this fad will change next week,” and I didnt lay any of that crap on her! I even bought her a pair of $12.00 pajama pants ( I sleep in my husband’s old t-shirts and sweat pants) They were really cute with sculls and crossbones etc…she “Had to have them…please mom!” I felt like a good mom, and didnt guilt myself afterwords! Doesnt this beautiful raven deserve scull and crossbone pajama pants?( see picture)

I picked up a good/bad habit from my little Grandma. I worry too much about spending money on quality items. I gravitate to the clearance racks and rarely spoil myself. Sometimes it’s better to spend a little more and get the thing you really want….
