My Mom bought me a placemat with all of the presidents on it. I also read about the presidents in several library books. Then I found a Presidents song on YouTube by the animaniacs – that really helped! Now I can tell anyone a president by any number they call out. I know them forwards and backwards and anywhere in between by heart! Good luck :)

I remember we had to learn this in 7th grade but my recall only went up to Lincoln. I took the same method I used in 7th grade and learned the rest in half a day. It helps to make a story with the first letters of their last name. For example Washington-Lincoln (this is the one my teacher taught me in 7th grade, thanks Mr. Wilson): [read vertically]
