How I did it: My wife used to be an elementary school teacher. One afternoon I was helping her out after school and I saw a book in her classroom about memorizing the presidents so I borrowed it for a few days (I like trivia and relatively obscure useless knowledge). The book used the most ridiculous mnemonic to help you remember them, and like most good methods, the more outrageous, the more useful it is. I did it in segments but all told it pro… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Extreme boredom in 5th grade. I've memorized them in blocks and set certain presidents as checkpoints, like WH Harrison, Lincoln, Cleveland, FDR, Kennedy, Bush. Read how I did it…

I really want to do this because I am being forced to for a test I have on Friday (in 3 days). Does anybody know a song for memorizing them?
i am doing this because i don’t know who is on the 10 dollar bill so my big brother told me to look it up so i did. i went to google.com and typed in presidents, clicked images and that is how i got here, if you were wondering.

I remember we had to learn this in 7th grade but my recall only went up to Lincoln. I took the same method I used in 7th grade and learned the rest in half a day. It helps to make a story with the first letters of their last name. For example Washington-Lincoln (this is the one my teacher taught me in 7th grade, thanks Mr. Wilson): [read vertically]
Walter Washington
And Adams
Jack Jefferson
Met Madison
Mary Monroe
And Adams
Jane Jackson
Visily (not a real word) Van Buren
Hurrying Harrison
To Tyler
Pick Polk
The Taylor
Fresh Fillmore
Peas Pierce
Before Buchannan
Lunch Lincoln
hope it helps!
Yup, I really don’t care a whole heck of a lot about this one. But its just sitting there on my list so I feel compelled to do it just so I don’t have to click the “I give up” button. So I printed out a chronological list of all the U.S. Presidents. We’ll see where we go from there.
