travel to kauai

Wow! Kauai was totally amazing. Had a chance to play Puff the Magic Dragon at Hanalei Bay, had great Puka Dogs at the South Shore. Waimea Canyon was breathtaking. If you’re into hiking and outdoor activities this is definitely the place to be.

I’m pretty excited after booking …then we head off to Maui for a family get together :)

We’re headed after Easter for several days and then a few days in Maui!!!

I loved Kauai. I spent a week there - stayed in a very inexpensive hotel, which left more money to do everything I wanted to do - go on a helicopter ride (the one with no doors!—totally awesome), hiking along the Napali coast (I highly recommend; this was a very rigorous hike, but getting to the hidden waterfalls and secluded beaches was worth it!), kayaking down the river, driving up to Waimea Canyon… Had dinner in a fabulous restaurant right on the beach that had the most gorgeous sunset view…sigh. I would love to go back again.
