get my tonsils removed

I had this done 12 days ago at age 28. It was orders of magnitude worse than I expected in terms of recovery. I only started eating solid food again 2 days ago. My throat still hurts mildly, and moreso when I eat or yawn. The worst pain came 7-8 days after the surgery, and it’s been getting better since then. In a few days I imagine I’ll be back to 100%. 2 months ago

Surgery set for December 1st to get these tonsils out after jumping through all the necessary (expensive) hoops (sleep study, CT scan, etc.). Hopefully it’s all worth the cash and 10 days of pain I have been warned about. 3 months ago

My tonsils have been huge for at least 9 years now. Tonsillitis comes and goes and these tonsils are a huge pain. My left one is now so large that it is constantly pushing on my uvula (hangy ball thing in your throat). Hopefully I can find a doc to take these out. 5 months ago
