I have always been intriqued by sign language and it’s beauty. Nine years ago I took a sign language class offered by my church. I am now involved in a deaf ministry at our church that I helped implement. The next step is to be able to interpret in church on Sunday morning.

Today I looked at my hands. I know they are capable hands. I know that they will help me complete this goal. It will take me a while but I am this this for the long haul. I will complete this because I deserve to have a career that I am passionate about rather then a job I hate.
So I’m doing my pre-requisite classes right now to get into a interpreter prep program and I found out yesterday that once I finish the Associates program that I can continue on at ASU for a bachelors. That was information I did not previously know and I’m very happy since I kinda wanted more then just an associates degree out of all this. Of course it also means I will be in school forever. And ever.
