A friend of mine recently taught me the basics of knitting. And I love it! It is relaxing, it is productive, it’s fun and really rewarding. I love it! I want to be really good at it!
I have now finished 4 hats, some slippers, and am finishing a new sweater. I woulnd’t say I am a good knitter but I am doing just fine.

squares, rectangles, that’s it. I want sweaters! hats! small knitted stuffed toys! to understand the patterns on knitty!
this will take time.
i have managed to learn to knit, with the help of my textiles teacher and my mother. Much to the irritation of both of them I can’t knit quickly, but I can do it and thats what counts. its hard!!!!!!!!!!
making headway. Got an old project out and have joined a stitch and bitch group.
