How to get a ferret

 "Getting a ferret was the best idea I've ever had!"
How I did it: My roommates both had ferrets, and I wanted to jump on the train with them. I spent a few days looking on craigslist, and found the perfect little girl. I contacted the seller, and we met up later that week. I took her home, and she's now my best friend! Lessons & tips: Ferrets are not like hamsters, or guinea pigs. They aren't like cats, or any other pet that people usually get. Ferrets are fun, curious little creatures. Don't get a ferret if you plan on keeping it caged up all the time. Yes, they are small animals, but they need to run. Keeping a ferret caged all the time is exactly like keeping a dog in it's kennel all the time. Kennels are good for dogs to sleep in, but that's about it. My point is: Ferrets are animals that you really need to research before you get one. They're not for everyone. BUT- If you are one of the people that would do well with ferrets, DO IT!!!! They're great :)

Baby ferrets are hard to find, but I want one. They’re cute specially the white ones. They’re good to have if you want a dog and cat, but your told you can only have one. I think ferrets are mix of both.

Okay so heres the story-Sorry its long..
The people across the road from me keep Ferrets, and ive only jsut found out that their female had kits! There are 11 babies and i took one that i like to my family and they couldn’t resist :P So now they are building a cage for me and my lil fuzzie!
I should have her (And her brother, wich my mom doesn’t know about but hey, Shh* during this week ^^ I can’t wait!
I dont know what im going to call them yet, I’ve had a few ideas but im going to base them on their personality. So yeah! WOOOOT

I currently voulenteer at the local RSPCA there are beautifull rabbit and guineas there. My mom still hasnt cracked, i have the money and everything. I didint speak to her for a week, i am that serious >_<

Since I’m really into minamlism and decluttering, I now see pets as a source of too much clutter, so I don’t think I really want any kind of pet.

Well, it finally happened! I found two ferrets on Craigslist because their owner is moving to Canada. They’re awesome pets. Luckily the ones I got are already well-behaved and litter box trained.

I found a ferret on Craigslist that’s up for adoption in my city because his owner has too many pets to care for. I’m waiting for a reply from his owner. If that doesn’t work out, my friend said he can get me one for free. (Apparently he knows someone that breeds them.) Good thing, too, because they’re freakin’ expensive.
I can’t wait to have my little Digweed! My boyfriend and I have a beautiful apartment, but it feels so empty without a pet.
