"It might've been somewhat sadistic, but seeing Hiro laugh that hard made my day."

How I did it: I had played a game at lunch (in highschool) where everyone present set their music players to shuffle and made a "life's soundtrack" to the randomness. When it came my turn, my greatest fear apparently involved "applebottom jeans and boots with the fur." I wasn't quite sure what happened next, then I belatedly realized my boyfriend had milk coming out of his nose. It put me off my lunch, but certainly made the day interesting.

Lessons & tips: Be a very random, spontaneous joker. Catching someone offguard with a joke or quip can easily cause this.

Resources: Too much free time, and easily amused friends.

    One way that I've come close with. 2 years ago

    Is to wait for someone to be drinking and say to them “be careful because if you laugh that’s totally going to shoot out of your nose.” The key is to make it sound like you’re genuinely concerned for their welfare. It hasn’t worked yet but it’s come pretty close a few times (and gotten me punched in the ribs).

    I’ve only ever seen this happen once in real life. Milk coming out of the nose is the gold standard of comic reactions. Once you’ve done that to someone you know that you’re funny.
