I’m rather encouraged here! I was just looking at the kind of small home I’d like in the county where I’d like to move. A house, including renovations I’d need (I use a power wheelchair) shouldn’t cost me more than $150,000. the house I’m living in now should be going up for sale within the year and at the very lowest should get sold for at least $900,000. That would leave me a nice nest egg to live on!!!
Now, I know I’m right in my thinking!

I tell people that and they’re very impressed until I add the Kentucky part. However, I’ve been to that Paris and I’m much more comfortable in Kentucky.
Paris is near Lexington. Therefore, it is in the middle of horse country. I don’t ride, but I love the animals. They have such elegance.
Mostly, I like the pace of life there. People move and shake, but they seem to do it with more purpose and more emphasis on doing things well rather than just doing them.
I like it there. I could be happy.

After preliminary research, it all comes down to – I really want to move to TN not KY. So now I’m going to focus all my energy into researching TN. In my heart, I’m a Georgia Girl. Since my husband hates Georgia but loves Tennessee, we’ll move to TN. It’s green and in The South, so I know I’ll be at home after a few years there.

I lived in Kentucky… and then moved out! I wish I could go back, though.

I curretnly live in Montana but have been looking to move closer to the midwest and Kentucky seems very nice.
Cadiz/ Paducah area looks inviting.
Thoughts?

xosteph is hanging out at ashley's!
I finally moved here on 9/2/06. I am absolutely loving it. Kentucky is amazing and I can’t wait for my first pretty autumn season and snowy winter! :D
