Moneybookers is a pain. They charge you a random amount under 2 euro. Then you have to wait to get your credit card statement to see what that was in euro (my online statement only shows it in my local currency).

Once I finally got that magic number, I thought I was sorted. Turns out they then want a scanned copy of the credit card statement. Then I got sort of bored with the whole thing.

Today on a whim I tried to register with paypal again. They allowed me! 10 minutes later I sponsored Vim.

So I could finally donate to the one program which enhances my productivity every day.

In South Africa, we can not do Paypal payments. We can however, use http://moneybookers.com, which Vim now supports.

It is the best editor I’ve ever used. It saves me lots of time daily.

I use it for anything from composing email, to text filtering to Java programming.
