I would call this past week a productive one. Now, I need to get to sleep so I can be productive at teaching my summmer school class tomorrow :-)
Clearly worth it but I do feel a tad bit bad for Rouenpucelle as I’m sure she is disappointed about not getting me into high heels and nail polish when taking her out on a fancy date.
... only have the two daily things to keep tomorrow which should be safe to take as a given as I didn’t have trouble with them before.
Read the 2 UCC books that I need to but keep putting off
Observe the Daily Office at least twice a day
Exercise at least 3 hours this week
Cut back heavily on junk food (once a day max)
Get in a morning weigh in, keep on forgetting to do this
Make decent progress on at least one of my summer personal challenge goals
1. Clean up and organise my PC
I am making good progress on this by doing bits and bobs as I sit down at the PC. I should be able to finish by late tonight
3. Do some shopping I’ve been wanting to do at the mall (water shoes, get ring cleaned, look for clearance items, Bath N Body Works sale, and look for gifts for Mark)
DONE :-)
4. Get groceries and a few things I need for summer school (S’Mores supplies, waffle cone dishes, etc)
DONE :-)
5. Clean and organise my bedroom side closet. Basically, it’s a side closet that’s become quite unorganised and is all filled with perfumes, lotions, and other personal care items. I need to sort out what I want and don’t want and reorganise. I’ll feel much better when this is done.
DONE :-)
8. Keep up my 40 mile per week treadmill goal
DONE :-)
9. Catch up on 43 things goals that I’ve been wanting to particpate in
DONE :-) well, for the most part… this hobby is never really done!
10. Get my recipe book pages I’ve printed out organised into the new larger binder I bought for them
11. Sort out all my financial paper work and new information given to me on IRA’s, 401k, etc so that my husband and I can be fully ready to shop around, compare, and make decisions when he arrives in August. *We’re going to be shopping for a new or newish car then too
10 and 11 are virtually done the printed out papers are sitting on my dining room table waiting for me to slip them into their proper spots in my binder and file folder while watching America’s Most Wanted tonight!
THINGS I’VE NOT DONE:
2. Get my schedule and unit plans set up for summer school
haven’t started… will likely do this on Sunday!
6. Clean house (this happens every Saturday, but I may do it on Friday this week).
Will happen today/tonight as usual
7. Organise digital pictures and get our website up to date if possible
Well, this goal is not even being attempted anymore as Mark and I have run into some bad news about our free geocities website. It turns out that Yahoo Photos is planning to shut down and that’s the site that Mark and I have all our photos linked to an uploaded to for our family and friends to see.
Due to this, Mark and I are going to now way to do this until he comes over so that we can decide what host we should create a new webpage on. I’m a little upset that Yahoo Photos is being done away with. I don’t like Flickr becuase as a free account anything over 2oo photos is not visible.
Overall, a good week off. I’ve kept up with my exercise, which was important to me. I’ve spent time with a friend, had an oil change done on my car, took a friend out to lunch, secured several treasures from a thrift store and obtained the groceries I need as well as some spa products on sale at Bath N Body. Oh, I won an auction on ebay too!
However, there is still a lot to be done including sorting clothes for this week for school, doing laundry, cleaning the house, and getting some plans done for summer school (kinda hard to do as I’ve no information whatsoever on these kids as they’re all new from distrcit and nobody knows them or was able to tell me what grade levels they’re on!).
At the current rate it doesn’t look like I’ll be taking you out to a date in high heels and painted nails …

Read the 2 UCC books that I need to but keep putting off
Almost halfway finished the first book
Observe the Daily Office at least twice a day
Prayed 3 of the hours
Exercise at least 3 hours this week

Make decent progress on at least one of my summer personal challenge goals
Made more progress on the page and about to upload my progress. (If you are on a first name basis with me and want a link let me know.)
I’m adopting this goal in the middle of the week because this is my only week off before I start teaching summer school and it’s also my last time off work before Mark moves over in August. That being said, I haven’t gotten shite done so far! Obviously there are a lot of things I’d like to get done (both house work and for school).
So here’s my list:
1. Clean up and organise my PC (music, picture, and word document files)
2. Get my schedule and unit plans set up for summer school
3. Do some shopping I’ve been wanting to do at the mall (water shoes, get ring cleaned, look for clearance items, Bath N Body Works sale, and look for gifts for Mark)
4. Get groceries and a few things I need for summer school (S’Mores supplies, waffle cone dishes, etc)
5. Clean and organise my bedroom side closet. Basically, it’s a side closet that’s become quite unorganised and is all filled with perfumes, lotions, and other personal care items. I need to sort out what I want and don’t want and reorganise. I’ll feel much better when this is done.
6. Clean house (this happens every Saturday, but I may do it on Friday this week).
7. Organise digital pictures and get our website up to date if possible
8. Keep up my 40 mile per week treadmill goal
9. Catch up on 43 things goals that I’ve been wanting to particpate in
10. Get my recipe book pages I’ve printed out organised into the new larger binder I bought for them
11. Sort out all my financial paper work and new information given to me on IRA’s, 401k, etc so that my husband and I can be fully ready to shop around, compare, and make decisions when he arrives in August. *We’re going to be shopping for a new or newish car then too :-)
OK, it’s a long list and I should try to limit 43things activity to the morning when I first check my email and then at night when I’m relaxing at the PC. Yikes, I shoudln’t be on here now… off to get some shite done! ;-)
Read the 2 UCC books that I need to but keep putting off
Got a good start into the first book today
Observe the Daily Office at least twice a day
Prayed 3 of the hours today
Exercise at least 3 hours this week
None today but plan on getting in some tomorrow.
Cut back heavily on junk food (once a day max)
Once a small homemade chocolate milkshake an hour after dinner.
Get in a morning weigh in, keep on forgetting to do this
Done didn’t like the results but am giving myself till the end of the week to turn it around before posting an update to 43T
Make decent progress on at least one of my summer personal challenge goals
Made good progress to my website
Yesterday
Prayed 2 of the hours
Ate no junk food
Think of this as an informal second personal challenge goal for the week of a list of conditions to meet but to make things more interesting rouenpucelle gets to choose the consequence for failure. Yes I know that is potentially dangerous but after being lazy and getting next to nothing done it should push me in a good way.
