It’s fun here! We have cars and stuff!

I’m so thrilled that you were happy with the whole Canada Day celebration that we put together to welcome you to your new home. I wasn’t sure Roxi would be able to keep the news of the country-wide celebration in your honor, but she swore she would.

Did you bring your sheep with you or do I need to send more? And did Roxi finally get the replacement you that I sent her?

Be sure to let me know when the two of you get all settled. Is there an Ikea nearby? Or is Ikea still a bad word with you?

Only arrived yesterday, and already they are throwing a big party for me today, with fireworks etc, although for some strange reason they are calling it Canada day, instead of welcome Cookie to North America day.

Thanks for everyones good wishes. Will be back in the next few days to chat a little more.

You know that I am of course incredibly happy for you both.. _{and a little bit sad too..}

I think that what you have done is amazing, afterall the UK continues to get more bizarre and messed up as the days go by, we now have a prime minister that no one voted for. How weird is that? Anyhow, the weather here sucks, everything is super expensive, we have council tax, petrol is £1 a litre, there are bugger all jobs, theres more terrorism in London, chavs are taking over and I am begining to think I should join you…

Anyhow, I love you both, I will miss you like you wouldn’t believe and I hope you still come to visit, often.

Mind you theres always skype! (buy a webcam!!!)

Good luck in your wonderful new life in Canada, I am sure it will be a million times better than Rawtenstall.
