Gotta look for this book: “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway.”
How to just do it
How I did it: It seems the thing that used to disturb me the most was the way I was looking at myself and at the others. I used to have no respect for myself and such a huge respect for others. Why was I punishing myself so much and so long? This I cannot know. I know in turn that I had to learn the lesson : have respect for yourself if you want others to have respect for you. Keeping this in my mind, it is no longer a problem to do what I want to it.
Lessons & tips:
- If you feel you want to do a thing, just do it. Procrastinating will devastate your self-esteem and having it done will make you feel so much better.
- The more you are afraid of doing it, the faster do it. It feels great once done.
- Remember to respect others and yourself.

OK, my correspondence is done, the dandelions are out of the flowerbeds, and I’m off to run errands before I return home to alternate work on a sermon and housecleaning.
Today I’m going to just do it, darnit.

...listed at a time.
“43 Things” is too much (for me) to keep in my head all the time. I read somewhere that most people can only keep between 5 and 9 simple items in their head at any one time. That averages out at 7 then.
But I find it difficult to retain stuff in my current memory so let’s say 5 items for me.
What to do with the rest? Well I’m putting them on the ‘give up for now list’ until I’m ready to re-activate them.
I can but try!

Adar is getting stuff DONE!
Seems like for the last several weeks I’ve been (1) traveling or (2) sick, and neither is conducive to getting stuff done. However, yesterday and today I made the doc appt I’d been putting off, and ordered the eyeglasses that will allow me to see properly (mine are waaaay off and I had fiddled about the new Rx, since it was expensive.) I did some major decluttering (more to do), and checked a dozen other malingering chores off my list. Spent time today organizing the rest of the to do list and prioritizing it.
Whew!
I feel soooo out of whack. Gotta get the hang of this odd life of mine.
