She is one of my oldest friends. We went to boarding school together, back when we’re 16. Even then, things seemed complicated. We got into trouble a lot, with boys, with seniors, with peers even, especially those with some form of authority.
There were five of us in our clique, including me and Z. We were quite notorious and for some reason, everyone and everything pissed us off. People called us rebels and every other name they could think off. We sticked together through it all. Despite all the crap we had to put up with, those were some of the best times of my life.
Me and Z remained friends 15 years later, until today. She’s back for a month long holiday and we took the chance to catch up off-site in Port Dickson recently. She’s leaving in a week’s time to further her studies. I know I’ll miss her terribly but technology keeps us close, via emails and instant messaging.
Z is one of my closest and oldest friends. She has seen me through my worst and best moments. She held me together when I was broken up in pieces when I got my heart broken. She was there through it all. Fate has brought us to different places and directions, but our history keeps us close even if we live thousands of miles apart.

My big sister
Everyone needs a big sister. Someone to look up to, someone who’s more matured but can still relate to the kind of drama I put up with.
Sis L is one of the most admirable person I know. Passionate, conscientious and caring. I turn to her for advice a lot and she keeps me steady when I lose my balance, which happens to be quite frequently lately. She’s also very discreet and doesn’t let on to knowing more than she’d care to admit. I bet there are things she’d like to say to me, but she let them be since she knows I’m not ready to discuss them.
When I need nothing more but understanding, she’s the one I turn to. I just hope I can be there for her as much she has been for me.

This one is a bit hard to explain. But let’s just say we’re workmates who discovered we had a lot more in common than just work!
He doesn’t cease to surprise me and he cracks me up with his weird sense of looking at things. He really, really wants to see a ghost before he dies although he’s becoming less hopeful each day. I tell him there’s a ghost for him out there and not to give up hope! Aah.. the things we say to our friends.. ;)
I talk to him a lot online. He doesn’t know this but he helps me stay sane. It helps that he doesn’t take me too seriously. We share interest in tech stuff (though he’s way better at this than I am!), high-speed thrills (though this remains theoretically for now) and a keen passion for Muse (though I’m the one who ones to marry Matt, thank God!). I may never ever say this to his face but he’s why I smile for no reason sometimes. :)

When I first got to know him, I was intrigued.. then suspicious.. then puzzled.. then I decided to accept him as who he is. Someone who tries to be a better man everyday. So maybe he has high-Mach tendencies. But he’s had my back so many times I’ve lost count.
Here’s to you brother.. you’ll never walk alone ;)

Three people from my freshie days. Two have left the company, but came back to rejoin the company. They’re actually my seniors, and despite everything that has happened in my crazy life, they’ve been a constant that has kept me steady.

I had dinner with two old friends yesterday. They were with me through the thick and thin of my days serving at an IT outsourcing stint. While I got to know them on a professional capacity initially, we clicked and got along really well until today (it has been about six years since then). I love spending time with them cause they hardly take me seriously and we always have a grand time recalling those bittersweet days and sleepless night while on projects. I hope we’ll be friends for many more years to come.
