Yeah so I never did return that library book. I should probably get that back to them. I was at Barnes and Noble and I was really excited and I bought Utopia and Iliad. I never got to read stuff like that in school so I’m excited. 5 years ago

I honestly do not have time for reading. I’m not in school until this summer or this fall or something like that so for now I’m stuck just reading the occasional magazine until someone decides to extend each day by 10 hours. 6 years ago

And I never do anything I try to do. My major is English/ Literature Education so I borrowed a brief history of English Literature from the library and I’ve actually been reading it and I’m actually enjoying it. 6 years ago

This afternoon, just before my nap, I read Charlie Geer’s “Hard to Believe” which appears in Southern Review’s Summer 2006 issue. In this, he tells about working as a roustabout for the Franzen Brothers’ Circus.

I read also because I want to see what and why the journals and magazines publish what they do. I wrote a few pages in the last couple days. I’m worn out, got to catch up on my sleep tonight.

The lad is running back and forth along the hardwood floor, roaring like a wild beast and laughing. It’s fun to see him enjoying life. He’s a sweet fun lad. 6 years ago

Valley of the Dolls last night. This was such an amazing novel, I recommend that everyone should read it!!!

I’m reading Margaret Atwood’s Robber Bride right now I’m about 1/2 way through. I used to be scared of Atwood, her books seemed intimidating. However, I’ve read about 5 of them now, and with every book I read, I admire her that much more. 6 years ago

I finished Da Vinci Code today. Not quite sure what all the crazy hype is about, I’ve read much better books. It was good, but not crazy great, he’s no Margaret Atwood or Jane Austen. :-)
But I guess it’s interesting to see 1 fictional book (or is it?? haha) cause such a stir in certain Christian circles. Maybe this will encourage people to be more passionate about their beliefs. If that’s the case, then this book has done far greater things than tell a good story. 7 years ago

I’m about 1/2 way through this book. So far I’m really enjoying it, and really can’t figure out why lots of people are freaking about it. It’s just a novel. I just finished Doctor Zhivago this afternoon. Wow, that was a heavy read, but well worth it. I admit to reading it while I was supposed to be studying, but I can’t study for 12 hours straight (yes, just keeping rationalizing the procrastination!) 7 years ago

All I’ve been reading for the last 8 months are school books. Right now I’m reading how to make amendments to a corporation and how to file this in the minute book. Useful, but pretty boring.
So the last week I’ve been reading on the train when I go to school. I’m reading Docto Zhivago, and I’m 120 pages in.
