Sherie is not feeling to good.
Today I decided to make a goal list about breathing better.
I think this will help me in very many ways.
Lets see how this turns out.

Today I decided to make a goal list about breathing better.

Lets see how this turns out.
I don’t think that I need this on my list any longer; I think I have lots of reminders in my life about it, and I do it and think about it frequently. I’d still like to make it more frequent, but I think that will come in the form of the goal of either taking a Yoga class, or starting a meditation routine.
I am going to try and be more aware of this today. Take some good old deep ones because i hardly ever do…and lets face it,it’s important!
i’m going to buy a wrist watch so that I can set up an hourly alarm. when this alarm goes off, I will stop what I am doing and focus on breathing deeply for one minute. then hopefully I will resume activity with some residual awareness and improved breathing. i think i should do the same with posture. maybe i shall.
I just tried flaring my nostrils when I inhaled and I swear I breathed in triple my normal amount. That’s the secret, for now. The brain and the organs all need oxygen to survive. They get deprived and it’s just problems problems problems.
I think all the mold and mildew I’ve inhaled over the last 2 years may be slowing me down. I fear its effects will increase at an exponential rate- an exponential rate of decreasing lung capacity. No matter, I’ll fight the good fight.
I have a great book about this that I bought in the airport in Thailand. I practiced it all the way back on the plane to the US and I found that it was helpful. The key to patience? Long life? A healthy spleen? Meditation and Kindness?
We’ll see.
I need to schedule in Breathing sessions and then constantly remind myself to check my breathing. Maybe that (the latter) is the best thing I can teach Triston as a parent- to be aware of his breathing. I did not learn that one.
