I understand how to do it and am able to get a pretty good looking braid done. But I’m not going to mark this as done until I can get some more practice so that it looks a little better and is easier for me to do.

I think I’ll give this another try. I know I started to learn when I was younger but never quite got the hang of it. Now I would just like to have a hairstyle that get’s my hair out of my face but still looks good.

Worth doing!
I tought myself how to do this when I was maybe 8ish. It took me a long time to be able to do this on someone else!! Just braid like normal and add pieces as you go!

For some reason I can’t follow the tutorials – I just get way too confused. I can’t even really braid my own hair and that’s nothing compared to french braiding. I really want to be able to do it, it looks so elegant and it’s the perfect hairstyle for when you don’t want to go straight and long. Hmm…maybe I should go to a cheap hair chain and pay them to teach me how to do it? It’s an idea.
