I got all my stuff moved in this past weekend (which really wasn’t that much) and got all the furniture for my bedroom assembled, so this goal is complete! I still need to trek back to IKEA and get common area stuff, but that won’t happen until I get paid again. :)
P.S.
My roommate is super special awesome!

I’m technically here, but I don’t move into my own place until August 1st—then I’ll be official! :)

I mailed all my stuff to a temporary place until I get a real apartment, so at least that part is done!
All I have to do still for this goal is get a place and set up all my stuff. :)

I wanted to move back – but I think I’ve found a new “home” and need to take this off my list. I’ve moved right onto Hanover St. in the North End of Boston – and I couldn’t be happier!

I looked into several different moving methods, and I’ve concluded that sending my stuff through the mail and then buying all new furniture when I get there is the way to go. The cheapest non-mail method I found for moving was $1,500, and I’m estimating (hoping) that mailing should cost around $500. I don’t really have as much stuff as I thought I did… at least, once I counted out all my furniture.
Now that that’s all settled, I can really focus on finding a place. I’m going to Seattle one more time before I move out there, and I really want to get an apartment on that trip.

Step 1: Find a job in Seattle
Step 2: Find an apartment in Seattle (Capitol Hill?)
Setp 3: Move all my stuff across the country
It’s still a pretty daunting task, but I’m getting there.

So, the first time I moved to Bellevue and not Seattle, but I figure that’s close enough. After I graduate now, though, I want to move into the actual city. I haven’t decided on a neighborhood yet, and I’m still looking for a job, but I don’t graduate until May, so I have a few months.

Been away for almost 22 years. Going to move back asap with son and daughter. They were born in Bethlehem, PA; been living in northern MI for over 11 long years. Enough talking about Seattle, time to get there.

My girlfriend and I left Seattle 2 years ago to move to New Jersey so she could get her masters at Seton Hall. Living in New Jersey has been horrible. She got her masters in May, we gave notice to our landlord 2 weeks ago, and we should be on the road to drive our moving truck back across the US 4 weeks from today. Seattle can’t get here soon enough. I’ve always loved Seattle (I grew up there), but I didn’t realize just how amazing of a city it is until I left. I will miss the easy access to New York city, but I’d take Seattle over NYC any day!
