I like the policies of the democratic party. though being an indian citizen & 16 years old,i am a hard core fan of Mrs.Hillary Clinton & new president Mr.Barrack Obama .

I'm a straight-ticket Democrat 3 years ago

If we have bad government here in America, it’s our own fault for allowing the Republicans to increase the national debt, ignore health care reform, involve us in wars, and make the rich richer at the expense of the poor and middle class. We’ve got exactly what we voted for.

I’ve been a registered Democrat since 1972. I was vice chair of Democrats Abroad Japan when I lived in Tokyo, and I served a term as treasurer of the Democratic Party Committee Abroad during Clinton’s second term. I’ve walked precincts on behalf of local Democratic candidates here in Las Vegas in the summer heat. I contribute annually to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

I have never voted, nor will I ever vote, for a Republican candidate. I have friends who ask me, “What if the the Republican is really good, and the Democrat is a schmuck?” That’s easy. If the Republican really were good, he/she would not be a Republican. After a “good” Republican gets elected, he/she is pressured to vote for the party’s agenda, which is founded in fear and motivated by greed. If he/she breaks party ranks to go Pro-Choice, for example, or against increased military spending, the GOP will come down on her/him like cruise missles on Baghdad. There’s no escape for the “good” Republican.

I also believe that voting for independents is a waste of the vote. Even if they get elected, they have no infrastructure for effecting change. Only by putting Democrats in office can we undo the incredible damage the GOP has done to this country, from Nixon and Watergate to Reaganomics to the Bush-whacking of democracy.

yakuza who has missed me?

I converted in 2001 4 years ago

I was a registered Republican (don’t tell anyone) up until then, but didn’t vote. Now I work for the DNC and am a registered Democrat.
