go to the Stewart Park Festival

The kids were a little on the unmanageable side today – but we enjoyed the festival just the same. Adieu, until next year…

Festival starts this afternoon – if the weather breaks, I’ll make some egg sandwiches & we’ll head to the park this afternoon. But right now there’s a rainfall warning in effect – they say it’ll break by noon. I hope so!!

So looking forward to this. One of my favorite events of summer.
I hope the weather works out well for it!!

Countdown to my favorite festival in our area (Jul20-22) – free music all day (Friday aft., Sat., Sun.) in a beautiful park, river running through it, workshops & kids activities, too. We usually spend at least one full day there, a couple of blankets to spread out on, a big lunchbag and extra clothes for the kids when they inevitably go into the river.
