Sell some of my art

I have done nothing to achieve this goal. Its pretty much out of laziness though. I found a local gallery that might stock my work but they are so unreliable I’m worried I would never get paid – best avoided methinks.

Need to make more new artwork as I have reasonable list of places that sell local artwork – I just need to create something that is saleable (easier said than done!)

i did a craft show a few weeks ago. i sold two things and traded two others. a little while after the show, a friend bought two prints from me. it’s small, but i still appreciate it.

all year i’ve been thinking, “i need to get an etsy. if i want to sell online, it’s etsy or nothing”. but i don’t think this is really the case. i’m pretty sure i can make a site/blog and put paypal buttons up and just run my own shop like that.
etsy really annoys me because it’s in american money only and i’m a canadian whose primary customers will probably also be canadian. i would hate to have to deal with a currency that is not my own.
so i think i’m going to look into this paypal thing and try to sell some art in the upcoming year.

I have sold a few works over the years, but I would like to be able to support myself by selling my work.

In fact I’m no where near it but I can draw and I’m not that bad at painting although tuition is needed therefore I’m not planning on doing it this side of the year but I do hope to create a piece of work worth selling in the next decade.
