wraiths82 is daydreaming about possibilities!
The scent and look of them just makes me extremely happy.
Of course, being given flowers is always lovely too, but carnations are affordable. They’re sunshine in any room!

Not recently, as I now have a real garden with irises and wild rabbit brush and wild desert mallow, but from time to time, I just like to indulge myself. My husband is not the flower-buying type, but he encourages me to spoil myself, so I do. Right now I am trying to pay of bills and save for my pilots lesson, so everything gets weighed against that, but maybe I will buy myself some flowers for my birthday.
I’m setting this goal as completed. I found the joy in giving myself flowers and I don’t think I’ll stop :)
During a trip on southern Mexico, I met and old lady who was selling wild Lilies for living, I bought myself a bunch of them, and helped the lady :)

I was driving home last week and stopped in a red light near a flower market, turned my head to the sidewalk and saw a guy selling red roses, they were so pretty that I couldn’t resist, so I bought a bunch of red roses for myself!
i buy flowers for myself every week.
I would rather go without decent food or other necessities than not have them in my home.
My Nan in her wisdom told me when I was very young ‘you are always rich when you have flowers’, they give you so much.
