paint the exterior trim on my house

Only two more windows on the second floor, and then the porch exterior. The red door will have to go-it’s just too much. We’ll keep it rrrrred on the inside, but the outer parts will go a deep black-charcoal. By mid-summer, we should be all done. I hope.

Picked a soft gray blue, and the paint is lovely. The prep work on the trim is a nightmare- the old paint is peeling and nasty and there are spiders EVERYWHERE….
but the results thus far are pleasing!

The door is red, the nasty siding is whitish. the trees are glorious. black, white, red, and…..cream? pale green? blue gray? what to do.
