Less Stressful 7 months ago

I am not as stressful as before. I am quite happy and relaxed now.

give thanks. 2 years ago

Now I do it everynight and I feel less alone than I have felt for a long time. I like feeling like there is someone out there who is watching out for me and knows me. It has been worth it.

last night 2 years ago

Last night for the first time in my life I thanked god for everything good that I had. I felt so much better and so happy before I fell asleep i’m sure that I can keep it up.

saying thank you 2 years ago

“If the only prayer you ever say is Thank you… That is enough”

I want to be more gratefull for the small blessings in my life.

I want to be more thankful 3 years ago

I have recently started actually speaking out to my partner the things I internally feel grateful for. This morning I thanked him for driving us to where we work, last week I texted him to thank him for letting me have the last beer in the fridge (it was my favourite kind – Leffe). He does lots of little things that I am thankful for and it does a lot of good to let him know that I am grateful.

God has given us so much, it’s good to be thankful for all that too.

Giving thanks is good for you 4 years ago

My wife told me yesterday that she read in a Time magazine article how giving thanks for something every day makes you a happier person. I think I believe that, so why not do it! As I think about it I think that some social traditions like saying grace at the table or pledging allegiance are almost like saying thanks, and I kind of miss that aspect of life I grew up with. I don’t really want to revert to those things, but maybe something can take their place.
