It’s been a while since I looked at this, but the P3 is pretty much been stuck since last summer on the “figuring out what to do next” stage. The pond is filled; the patio is gone; the timbers and other trash have been carted away. Now we just need to bite the bullet and decide deck or not? Extend/reshape the porch to wrap around the side and tie into a deck? ... Or what?

The Pond/Patio Project (P³) involves ripping out a raised patio (about 10’ x 15’ x 3’) and all the dirt below, filling in the ornamental pond, figuring out what to do with the dirt that won’t fit in the pond, figuring out what to do with the pavers that used to make up the patio, regrading to a yet-to-be-determined degree the soil, having the timbers and other debris carted away … and then figuring out what happens next.
