How to do karaoke

How I did it: One day my good friends and I who were all still single at that time didn't have plan on our Saturday night. We usually went to a lounge bar, cafe or restaurant, but on that day we chose a karaoke club. Lessons & tips: Better pick some fun songs that you can sing together. Prepare the list of songs before you do karaoke, so when you are in the place, all that you will do is singing and dancing - yeah, don't just sit, but stand up and dance!! |

How I did it: I did this with a group of friends when we went on vacation to San Antonio. It was probably easier because I knew I would never see most of those people ever again. After doing it once though, I would do it anywhere. Probably not alone though. Singing with friends made me way less embarassed. We sang "Possoum Kingdom" by Toadies. I’ve always been too self-conscious about singing and being in front of people to combine the two in such a way as this. I’ve been doing alot of things recently that were previously abnormal for me, so I hope I can add this. Hopefully I don’t throw up.

I love singing, and singing in front of other people is even better for an attention-hog like me. I sang “I Will Survive”, and then Kathryn, Laura and I sang “Big Girls Don’t Cry” (terrible choice ;P!) and then Laura and I sang “Something to talk about”. that was fun. _

Sure, you may be a little nervous at first…..but sing anyways!! I forgot my words and got way out of rhythm…...but people still clapped…....
