TheMightyGiant new resolution: BE HAPPY
How I did it: I slept in more often on weekends, then I started sleeping for longer hours during the night on week days, then I started taking naps in between activities. Next thing I knew the biggest part of my day was sleeping, now I'm stuck with extreme sleep needs. I went from sleeping five hours a day to about thirteen hours a day. So yeah no I need less sleep... How I did it: Last few months I had a lot of work to do, so I felt so tired after all. First thought was SLEEP! Anyway, after few days I realised that 6 to 7 hours of sleep were more than enough for me, and sleeping more than that only made me be less productive and feel "stoned" whole day. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I go to a boarding school where I work from 8-12 pm, and then have to be ready for class by 6:30. Not being at school is the only way to sleep! I love summer vacation so much lol Read how I did it…

How I did it: Getting to bed earlier. The thing that assisted with this is the fact that I can use DVR to record shows. That way, on days when I do want to watch television, I can just record something and head to bed at a decent hour. The interesting thing is that this occured after my daughter was born. As soon as she started sleeping through the night, I did. Read how I did it…

Hven’t slept through the night without a sleep aid in years. Really want a resolution. I might try a sleep study.
anoschen is submerged in work.
I can’t imagine that averaging 4 – 6 hours a night is very good for you. 7 – 8 is recommended, if I’m not mistaken. It’s not even that I work too much, its that I stay up too late and wake up too early. It kind of sucks, but I admit that its my fault. I just have to go to sleep earlier…waking up later isn’t an option at this point in time, unfortunately.
I’m tired of acting zombie-like. :(

I’m going to bed at 9. And that’s that :D

I went to bed at 9, and actually felt very energetic today!
I was even able to resist watching my favorite show in order for sleep. Hulu and DVR are my friends :0
Tonight my target time is 9 oclock again, I’m going to need that energy for homecoming.
At least I am sleeping more than when I had to wake up at 6:30 to go to school every day…
But I still rarely sleep 8 full hours, and I wake up at 9 every day no matter when I go to bed ( Why? Mistery of the human body)
Yesterday I did a terrible effort to sleep until noon, but it seemed more like a fight agaisnt myself than a rest (Waking up every half an hour and struggling not to open my eyes)... I guess my body really needed it cause I had slept at 3 in the morning… It didn’t work this morning, I woke up at nine. I guess I should sleep earlier.
Or change my curtains so the sunlight doesn’t pass through.
For now I have dark circles around my eyes and no energy :P
I think lack of sleep is the root of all the problems in my life at the moment. :/
Problems of the internal strife kind.

This one will probably end up being one of the easiest ones to do. All I really have to do is… well… sleep.

So much work to be done
My school Calls my name in the Night
Emotions run rabid
They must be tamed and kept under control
Before I can fix my emotions, I must take the time to understand them
There are thoughts to be thought
Obstacles to be jumped
There are people that must be pleased
Food to be eaten
And there is no time for sleep
