take a road trip WITH a predetermined destination

So we headed to Portland to spend the 4th of July, and had the most wonderful, delightful, and pleasant day in this beautiful and lovely city.

Though our destination was set, our plans were not. We just walked out and about the whole day. We very much enjoyed and loved Portland.

There are no predetermined plans on what to do there, but just walk around and get the feel of the city. We’ll be there for the day, and the trip is 3 hours each way. So hopefully there might be some sights to see along the way as well :)
