spend my summer of 2007 reading critical race, cultural and gender theory

I should have called this goal “spend my summer of 2007 gathering and reading critical race, cultural and gender theory.” I have not read as much as I would like, but I did get a lot of books that I am going to read over the course of the spring and summer of next year. I shall revisit this goal then.

I have had an increase of responsibility at my job, but I have been able to read a little bit. I am going to wind up editing this goal to extend into fall.

I use the Firefox browser and have this free add-on called Zotero. It is great and basically allows you to save snapshots of pages, bibliographic information (books, journals, films, etc.) in the proper bibliographic form and creat little libraries of information that you can use on or offline.

Anywhoo…I have a library called critical theory where I have put a bunch of articles that talk about feminist, cultural, literary theory, etc. I have read a few of them and really like them—is that crazy?

I am also using my Paperback Swap account and requesting books that deal with the subject.
