Oh yeah … what should we talk about then?

When I’m talking, often people go “pardon? what?”. It’s really off-putting. I don’t think I speak that softly but apparently so. I was talking to another girl at work who reckons the same thing happens to her. Then we came up with the theory that we just have really good inner hearing. When we talk like we normally do, it sounds normal to us but quiet to everyone else. If we talk louder it sounds too loud to us but to everyone else it’s just normal.

OK, so it’s a very lame theory then. :D

Sometimes, maybe often, what is in my head can’t find it’s way into my mouth. Whatever it is gets lost somewhere in between so it’s already gone from my head but hasn’t arrived as words yet. So nothing comes out and I am frozen. Where does it go I wonder? It usually comes back later when it’s not needed. Ever so frustrating!
