I never thought about a “moonlit walk on an ocean beach”.. it just happened to me :) and days later I realized how cute and romantic it was… My friend asked me for a walk and we happened to go to a nearby beach.. and luckily that was full moon night, everything was so perfect except this that I wasn’t aware that this guy will become “someone special” soon.. now I’m just waiting for our next “moonlit walk on an ocean beach”..

I would love to take a moonlit walk on an ocean beach and walk hand-in-hand with a woman I’ve yet to meet.
We could walk together and talk forever as the moon above gives us light for our souls and keeps us entranced in the light of romance. How I would love to feel warm sand on my bare feet and toes and share that dream with a woman I’ve yet to know. We could walk beneath the stars and wonder who placed them there.
We could share dreams, feel a cool ocean breeze, find solace in each others arms. I hope I can do this before I die and bring joy to another along the way.
For when you think about it, what else counts but love, which is something money can’t buy. You find it in your heart and you open your heart to another who would like to come in and share your dreams. I hope whoever reads this feels the same as I and finds someone they can share time with before the light of the Moon fades away into eternity. Blessings to all.

That’s when my husband proposed. We went to dinner, then for a drive, and finally a walk on the beach. =) Where he tol me he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He didn’t get down on one knee, but I don’t blame him, there were a ton of sad crabs. LOL

    Done this many times.

A couple times with the same best guy friend, one time with a special man friend, and multiple times with just regular friends. :)

Worth it. It makes you feel infinite.

    First kiss... 3 years ago

We drove right up to the beach on Mark’s 1990 red Mustang convertible; the breeze gently caressing our faces and the waves as the only background music to our words, Mark knew exactly how to pace himself enough for me to understand his English, and he made a great effort to decipher me.

We left Dallas with my sister, her husband and a friend, just as a spontaneous weekend trip .
For that night we left the trio in the hotel and told them we would be out for a couple of hours.

It was the perfect night, the moon beaming like a Celestina who is about to witness her success.
We had been “a couple” for two weeks; the dynamics of dating in the USA where unfamiliar to me, I needed to be asked before I was someone’s girlfriend, Mark was advised by my brother in law to ask, so he did two weeks previous to us going on that trip.
He was also advised to take it really slow; I had never been kissed in my 20 years.

I had the feeling he would try to kiss me that night, so I was very nervous and maybe even a little evasive, we went to walk and talked about so many things that that the fear got drowned by the waves as they got closer to our feet.
We had walked for a long time; we stood in front of a broken pier, I mentioned it looked some what surrealistic, like soldiers coming out of the water, or statues waiting for someone to walk between them all the way inside the ocean and never come back.
I pretended to walk in there telling him I heard the ocean call my name, perhaps the same sea monster that was meant to take Andromeda’s life; he grabbed me by the waist to stop me from going inside and delicately kissed me, Cassiopeia smiled from above as once again a young woman was saved by her very own Perseus.
From that moment on my heart was set.

I know your teeth are probably hurting, but it was just like that or even sweeter…

And still enjoy doing it 3 years ago

But there was one very unusual moonlit night on the beach many years ago. It was a lunar eclipse, which are very slow (compared to a solar) and we got about 90-95% of it, and it was a clear winter night, and the wine and the fire probably helped - and I don’t know if I can really explain this, but at the height of the eclipse, as I gazed upward at this blood-red orange globe suspended above my head I could see its “roundness” - its 3-dimensionality, and for the longest time I knew, really knew, that I was standing on a big round ball out in the middle of space somewhere gazing up at another big round ball out in the middle of space somewhere—it was cosmic surreal awesome and awe inspiring and I will never forget it. The Vastness of Space, the Hugeness of the Cosmos, the Significance of Life . . . the Majesty of God.

Just me, my thoughts and the moon 3 years ago

At Bournda NP in southern NSW I walked on the beach at moonlight and I was the only one there. It was a magical experience, but I wished that I had someone by my side to share it with me. Perhaps it was better being on my own, just me, my thoughts, and the moon.
