I’ve thought a long time about this and have decided I’m not ever making a BRAINDANCE UNDERGROUND website. It’s been fun, but now it’s time to let it go, and realize this was just a community thing, not something that was ever going to go anywhere or make any difference in the music world. I’m a grown-up now, and have grown-up problems to deal with that are just going to make maintaining this thing all by myself impossible.

As for me, though, I want to continue pursuing my own artsy hobbies, and so I’ve decided my website will be a chronological archive of all my own personal creations, physical and digital, starting from 2008.

So here’s the initial plan:
I want to start in July. I will make a list of all my physical and digital creations (music, art, video, writing) and put them in order. Then I will organize them into sections, like this:

Section 1: Category (Art, Music, Video, Literature)
These will be placed as tabs on the top of the page underneath the banner.
Section 2: Year (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013)
There will be a “Year” menu under each category, going from the present year down to 2008.
Section 3: Created By Me / Created For Me
Each year will link to a list of creations matching the selected category. That list will be divided into 2 sections: Created By Me (stuff I created, re-created, mixed, remixed or compiled) and Created For Me (things that have been created as a gift or tribute to me by my friends or family). Each link will show either a picture, a sample, a review, or all o the above. Some might even have copies for sale or giveaway if anyone is ever interested.

In July 2011 I created a blog about living abroad and have been really good about maintaining it. The number of visitors has continued to grow steadily and I’ve met a lot of cool new people! But it’s a Blogger blog and I’ve been wanting to have my own site for a while now.

The bf is a programmer and bought us a domain name a while back. We just haven’t got anything posted on it. Originally we planned to use it as a site for English Language Learners. That’s still the plan, but recently we’ve begin developing an idea for another site, a site for Russian Language Learners. I’ve got a bunch of photos and writing stashed for the site, waiting for the bf to finish building it (he insists on doing it himself to get experience). Am really excited!
