be a working actor

Getting closer. Booked an AT&T commercial a couple weeks ago. It made me remember how much I love this business. I had an interview with an agent who’s supposed to be good, but due to many reasons I decided not to pursue that relationship. I need to do a mailing to look for a new commercial agent. I’m SAG so right now there’s not much work out there, but I feel I’m at least moving in the right direction.

So, i’m currently acting in my first stage play and I LOVE it. I’m in an improv group as well but I’m really trying to take it to the next level. I need to get headshots and all the other cool, expensive stuff that I’ll need.

I’m already working in British independent films. The problem is that most of the work is unpaid, as there isn’t a lot of investment in UK indie film. I want to reach the stage where I can make a living out of what I do best.
