I have in fact returned my library books- as a part of my New Year’s resolution to get things moving in my life, declutter, and get ready to get my own place (as a single gal), I had to get those books out of the house. Bad chi, and whatnot.

but I STILL haven’t returned these library books. They are by the door in a bag. There is a post-it note on the door reminding me to take them back. However, I delay. WHy? Because I am lazy, because I have no car and have to walk ten blocks to drop all 9 of them off, because I like the guilt? Who knows? This weekend I will take them back (unless it rains…lol).

The best way to return late boks and feel good about it is to think of the fine as a donation to a very worthy cause “The Library”.
So they were due May 21st… finally got them back this past thursday.. July 14th! Sheesh, I suck but they finally had to be taken back because i was moving!

OK, I admit it. I have had these library books for almost two years now. I am ashamed. I have not been able to go to the library ever since. I am embarrassed. And I meant to take them back. Really, I did. They’re all in a tote bag ready to go.
I need to take them back this weekend. I am a woman on a mission. I am committed to getting them back in. I just wish there was a “bad borrower” amnesty program for folks like me. Pittsburgh had something like that- and a contest for who had the library book that had been gone the longest.
Oh, library gods! Forgive me.
