How I did it: Went to the nearest place that would do it, asked prices / eexperiance of doing itt,,,then went in and got it all done =]Most people say it doesnt hurt - the only thing i found hurting was eating after wards. you cant move your tongue much and i endedup using my fingers to eat - very attractive! How I did it: Wanted this mod for over a year. Was wandering around San Francisco when I had a brainwave. Walked straight into a piercing shop and got it done. It didn't hurt one bit and was amazing fun to get pierced. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I had it done right this afternoon. At first I just wanted it because I wanted a new piercing and had to be one my parents can't see. Concidering I find navel/bellybutton, nipple and tongue piercings kinda overused (besides the fact that it's not always easy hiding navel and tongue) and I don't like surfaces or micro dermals/anchors, that narrowed it all down to a septum, smiley or a tongue web. First I decided on the septum, but maybe I'… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I went to this piercing place near my university. It was kind of expensive to have to done, but I love it so it was definitely worth it. They clamped my web and then put the needle through. It was quite painless- the hardest part was keeping my mouth open. My web is very thin, so I'm scared it might fall/rip out. But for now, its fun to play with and knowing its there, so I really enjoy it!(p.s. sorry about the pic resolution. taken with … Read how I did it…

Ok, Some background Information, I come from a family were piercings are a rare occurrence but both my mother and father were covered in tattoos.
At school one day when one of my close friends lifted up her tongue and out of the corner of my eyes i saw a small metal bar and paused i was amazed this was the first time i had seen or even heard of this.
That night i sat in my bathroom staring at a small saftey pin and a ear stud for about 20 mins, i got a hand towl tweezers and alcohol wipes sat it on the table and started to Sterilize everything.
I opened my mouth got the saftey pin and stared to push through the skin it took a few minutes to fully brake the skin it wasent as painful i thought but it was uncomfotable for a long time.
I letf the pin in for a few hours until the hole stretch a bit to fit the stud through, which i left in for about a week, a week passed i found it hard to eat so i only drank water that week untill i changed the stud to a small eybrow bar i bought.
I am in love with my tongue piercing.
My fist day was hard to talk with out spitting and i could hardly eat i felt sick for a while because i was only drinking water.
Day two my tongue was saw and swollen eating was still hard and water was all i was consuming.
Day three i went to i went back to school and showed everyone after a few days everone had it done.
Day four i was so sick and felt so angry beacuse of the piercing i just wanted to take it out it was so swollen and painful at this time but i left it in.
Day five i had my fisrt meal still swallen i ate like a pig.
Now three months on my tongue is my favroutie piercing of all. i love it.
I got mine done on Wednesday (23rd July 2008) and I am loving it. Didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would and the worse bit was the clamps they put on rather than the actual piercing. They put a larger bar in to allow for swelling and stuff but it is really annoying me now. lol.
Had a bit of a disaster with it and one of the balls came off but luckily the bar didn’t come out and I just put a ball from one of my belly bars on it as they are the same guage.
To anyone who wants it done I say go for it… you will be so happy with the end result and honestly it doesn’t hurt as bad as you think it will (and I am such a wuss when it comes to pain) :D
i don’t think my parent i live with will approve, so i’m going to buy some black dragon gloves, 16g cannula needles, the h20cean oral piercing mouth wash, a short curved barbell and do it myself.
i’m kind of nervous, but i’ve never seen anybody that i know with one, and i love the way that it looks. i also love that it’s a hidden piercing and nobody would know i have it unless i show them.
I got it done professionally after trying it myself and chickening out with a needle half through it.
For me, the piercing itself wasn’t painfull at all. But the guy let the needle slip out of the hole before he put the barbell in, and then had to shove the barbell through that hole. That hurt like mother fucker.
I’ve had it done for over a month, and love it completely. I did have some problems with it in the beginning, because my barbell wasn’t long enough it was sinking into my gum underneath [sick, i know.] But i got a longer one with larger balls and now it’s perfect. I do clink it against my teeth, however.
I suggest anyone thinking about doing it, DO IT. Nobody can see it unless you actually show them, and it doesn’t interfere with day to day activites.
My fave piercing i have, by far. : )

I did it a year ago..
I love it.
I play with it all the time, and it keeps my fidgeting down.
it was my least painful piercing, but it does get plaque on it. BE SURE TO CLEAN IT OFTEN.
GO get it done, and then buy a slushy.
took me a few days to get used to it…kinda felt like I had a kernal of corn under my tongue..but I don’t notice it anymore.
I love to play with it…and it doesn’t effect my job, but cause you can’t see it..like you can a normal tongue piercing.
Also, it doesn’t fuck up your teeth…nor does it effect your speech…and if you are young, your parents never have to know..
This is the least painful piercing I’ve ever gotten. I play with it constantly.
Do it yourself (not advised…lol)! Yippee! :P This is such a bizarre piercing, I love it!
