How to shave my head bald
How I did it: Take all your hair off with a pair of those electric clippers than break out the shaving cream and a razor that you'll never use again. Start shaving. You might need a friend to get the very back of the head for you, otherwise you end up with a hair patch on the back of your head.
I also recommend not doing this during winter, it's a summertime/spring kinda look. Also, if you do it at least once in your life you'll see all the little bumps, bruises, nicks, humps, lumps and oddities that are on your head, hidden behind all that hair.
Lessons & tips: Again, a friend to get the back.
Resources: Shaving cream, Razors, Electric Clippers, Mirrors, Friend.

i am 14 years old and i would like to shave my head my hair is curly and really thick and i hate it does anyone reccomnd doing it a certain way
I’m scared to death of doing this on one hand because I use my hair to hide behind. But really thats why I want to do it too. I hope I can build up the courage
Hi there my name is Di and I am 30 yrs old and decided to shave my head from long hair to a 3. It was scary and exciting at the same time. I feel liberated, no longer have to worry about styling my hair and colouring it, I wash it with dove soap and then its done. I know I look very “hardcore” and my boyfriend calls me GI Di. He loves it says its very brave and I have guts.
I realise that I am not defined by my hair. There are two parts of my body that I loved and thought were my best parts, my eyes and my hair. Now its my head shape, my guts and my eyes he he he.
Seriously though it was something that I just decided, I had enough of tying my long hair up because its very hot where I live and long hair is HOT, I walk around feeling so refreshed and cool now.
People do stare at me I know they are either thinking I am gay or I have cancer. Which brings me to another reason why I did it, my 33 year old brother died of cancer 2 years ago on the 16th Feb and I did it for him too. He always cut his hair in an army cut and I know he would have thought I was mad, but would have loved that his kid sister was brave enough to do it.
Hey and hair grows back its no big deal… but I might just keep it short who knows…
We are always so frightened to take risks in life, but to me this body is casing for my beautiful soul and so hair doesn’t really mean that much to me. I am really happy I did it, its so much more than just shaving your head, its freedom…
Hugs and much love out there to all of you
Di
i’m not sure why but having hair really annoys me, i just wish I knew wat I would look lik, is there a free way 2 find out
I shaved my head my first month of college 2000 miles away from home, and it felt awesome. I’m a straight female, but I have to say, I looked pretty good! I did look a little like a boy sometimes, but knowing that I was brave enough to not be defined by my hair was an AMAZING feeling. DO IT!
I’ve been wanting to go bald ever since I started going gray at the ripe old age of 27. But I’m worried that my nose is too big and that I might have a weird-shaped head that’s not conducive to looking good bald. I have super thick hair & it’s also quite long, so it’s hard to tell what I’d REALLY look like. Any suggestions for a reliable way to tell how I’d look?
My hair grows really fast so I’m wondering if any baldies out there with fast-growing hair could tell me how often they have to shave. I wouldn’t want it getting too long because I hate the gray showing too much- I’m not ready to accept old age when I’m still in my early 30s! It’d still be better than having to color it twice a month. Not to mention the $$ I’d save on shampoo, conditioner, product(s), etc. ad infinitum ad astra. Oh and the vacuums that would never break again!
952 Is tired, and content.
And I shaved my head for a few years. People gave me a hard time about being a Skin, but I just chalk that up to bigotry. Ignorant people judging based on looks. Whatever, I really enjoyed having a bald head.
Deciding to keep it short, though I’d have no problem doing it again. It would be cool if I had some wigs to wear if I did happen to do it again.
