redo my resume

I totally forgot i had this goal registered at this website for ages. From the time i wrote the goal to its completion – it has been 2 years.
Not a good sign of goal completion. I had to be made redundant to even look at my resume. That’s sad. Leaving everything to the last minuite.

I really have to start breaking down my goals other wise i’ll never achieve them.

Next step for me right now is.. Look for a job and maybe go through my resume again. Make 3 more resumes one for my line of work , one for casual work, and one that includes my new skills from a part time course that i am doing. 13 months ago

I have been offered another job here at Lamson where I have been working as a temporary Administration Assistant these past few months, so I have been focussing on the role here (which isn’t 100% certain as yet – in about one to two weeks I’ll know for certain what my role is, how many hours, whether part time or full time etc), so I haven’t had the time to really do up my resume.

I have printed everything so I will go through it these next few days, put together the cover letter & update my experience & current position, responsibilities & forward it to my prospective employer – where my sister in law is leaving. I finished my resume today and actually sent it in to a place I’m considering working at in the future. 3 years ago

I kind of threw together a resume a few months ago for my application for a promotion. But I need to redo it and make a better quality one that has things that don’t specifically apply to just my current job. 3 years ago

I suppose the hard part for me is getting started. I need to redo my folio..as it still has my graduate pieces in there. Need to reformat the whole folio to all my latest projects. and Also Redo my resumé. I reckon being a graphic designer maybe i should do something more creative yet straight forward. have an edge to it…. I was gonna say ’ i’m so lazy’ and realised that’s demoralising. After procrastinating for months I buckled down tonight and edited the resume down, posted the new version on monster.com AND applied for a job… Of course, I saw afterwards that I misspelled the hiring manager’s last name in my cover letter.

OH WELL!!! If she doesn’t like it she can suck it. There will be other jobs to apply for – now that I have an acceptable resume at the ready! 3 years ago

And made notes on what to fix up… but haven’t actually fixed it up yet. It’s been 4 months since I had the session with the advisor. I want to sit down and do the update so I can submit it to temp agencies ASAP. 3 years ago

I had to force myself to do it! Now I have no excuse not to apply for a new job, oh, except for my portfolio. Damn it. I need to put that on my list. LOL5 years ago
