Not so much of meeting someone new, but re-uniting with an old friend. We were best friends in primary school but lost contact completely somewhere during junior high and after that – nothing. Now we got back in touch through facebook (ah, that notorious facebook) and met up properly today and it was nice (and a bit surprising) to notice that even after years of not talking at all we didn’t have problems in finding topics to talk about. Sure, mostly it was about the things we’ve done during the… 4 years we hadn’t seen each other at all, but still. It was just so natural to talk with her, I must admit I was a bit sceptical about our meeting beforehand, as I really wasn’t sure whether or not we would be able to hit it off, but we did very well, luckily. We’re definitely going to see again, too, as we still have so much to talk about and all. Yes, this went way better than I expected, so I’m satisfied. :)
