I thought I would share a few good books I have read. Some are more recently read and others were read when I was younger. Regardless they are all fantastic books that I would recommend.

I am currently reading “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne…so far so good!

“The Giver” by Lois Lowry.
“The Root Cellar” by Janet Lunn.
“The Thirteenth Tale” by Diane Setterfield.
“Flowers in the Attic” by V.C. Andrews.
“Go Ask Alice” by anonymous.

I’ve started reading voraciously again now that I am unemployed! woohoo! I have a list of books to read and I have 40 or so to go. And I am adding to it all the time. Once you start finding things to read, it is easy to find more.

Here were some of the good ones I read:

Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer
The City of Falling Angels by John Berendt
Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh
The Anastasia books by Lois Lowry
The Polysyllabic Spree by Nick Hornby
Random Family by Adrian Nicole LeBlanc

this goal was more to find a good fiction book to read 3 years ago

however, I have at least, four non-fiction books that I am currently reading so being a relatistic goal setter that I am, I’m moving this one off to the side for now. ;)

I used to read a lot of sci-fi so I’m not quite sure why this one never made the list…but I’ll make note for now. And the good part is that I can always borrow it from the library.

Ok, on the self improving side…this would be a good book to read. But it would also be nice to read a mindless book…it’s been so long since I last read any fiction and there are time where I do have time to just unwind….so any recommendations?
