I think it’s important to speak my mind, actually I do it quite often. So, I’d like to do this … just because I can express my own opinion.

But, I wrote an editorial to the largest paper in the state when South Dakota was in the middle of it’s “Referred Law 6” election mess. So many lies were being told by the pro-life side that I really could sit there and NOT write in. I just had to get that off my chest, and I felt better after writing it. Though I didn’t see it published, South Dakotans did stand up to the lies and decided that women’s rights should still exist.
Duh.



I did it on a whim 3 years ago

Time magazine has it’s annual best inventions of the year issue and I randomly wrote to the magazine because one of the aticles in the 2005 issue kind of bugged me. Sure enough I found my comment published although I had never wrote in to anything before! It was way cool especially because I’m a teen and Time is a very respected publication.
